What are your views on witchcraft?
Witchcraft, in and of itself, is most certainly not evil. It, like anything else, can be used for evil means. But, so can any religion, Christianity included. Some of the most horrifying evils I see in this world today are performed by Christians (ex: hate crimes, using God to justify bombing Afghanistan, etc.). Personally, I am thrilled to see the peaceful religion of Wicca gaining popularity. Perhaps we are finally beginning to get away from the staggering violence that the Christian doctrines teach.
Ainslie, I have a question if you choose to answer it: Do you believe in God or not?
Isaiah 47:9-15 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy SORCERIES, and for the great abundance of thine ENCHANTMENTS.For though hast trusted in thy WICKEDNESS: Thou hast said, None seeth me.Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath PERVERTED thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.Therefore shall EVIL come upon thee; thou shall not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.Stand now with thine ENCHANTMENTS, and with the multitude of thine SORCERIES, wherein thou hast laboureth from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels.Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the STARGAZERS, the monthly PROGNOSTICATORS, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
a few individuals/are you a terrorist?
No Christian "doctrines" that I have ever seen teach violence. The hate crimes are committed by sick individuals. Most importantly, GOD does not teach violence. As to bombing Afghanistan, it IS justified. Are you a terrorist?Do you support terrorists?Do you sympathize with terrorists?Should we allow them to get away with all those murders? ========== In Reply To ========== Witchcraft, in and of itself, is most certainly not evil. Actually, according to the Bible, God has indeed advocated great violence in the past. He's ordered the genocide of several peoples (and when the soldiers killed the men and left the women and children alive, God told them to kill the children and women who had "known a man," but keep the virgins for their own "use"). He has ordered the killing of people's children, and He has required blood sacrifices up to the point when Jesus' death did away with that. You can't really say God doesn't advocate violence, and while you certainly could say that each of these instances was "deserved" somehow (Blood sacrfices? Killing innocent children? Raping virgins?), you cannot deny their existence.
As far as the previous posts you made quoting scripture and putting certain key words in all caps, none of the words you capitalized has one blessed thing to do with witchcraft (I'm mostly assuming here that by witchcraft, you mean the practice of Wicca and other Neo-pagan religions). If your mind is open enough to a bit of unbiased learign of the other side's position, you should check out a few pages from ReligiousTolerance.org. In particular: http://www.religioustolerance.org/witchcra.htm (an overview of Wicca), http://www.religioustolerance.org/wic_pott.htm (an exploration of the widely varied and often confused meanings of the word "witchcraft," with Biblical scriptures), and http://www.religioustolerance.org/paganism.htm (an exploration of Paganism and its many meanings). If you find yourself unable to believe any of the things this site says about Wicca and witchcraft, check out their sections on Christianity. You can judge for yourself how well they represent religions and how thoroughly they research them by reading about what they have to say about your own faith.
I realize these pages provide an awful lot of reading, but if you are really a speaker of truth, as you say, you have a responsibility to speak an informed truth--and that includes taking the time to thoroughly and objectively research all possible truths or approaches to truth before declaring any to be inarguably wrong. That's a very great responsibility, one not to be taken lightly. You may not have the time to read every single word on each of these pages, but you really should closely and thoroughly read the pertinent sections of each and not just skim through it--and especially not go into it with your mind already made up. There's no point to learning if you're only willing to learn that which you already know--or think you know.

Jeni, God spoke directly to the people you are referring to.He no longer does that.Today people are to obey the commandments left to us in his word, which does NOT advocate violence.I don't know why I'm wasting my time talking to someone who considers blood sacrifices to be violence. The animals that were sacrificed were just that, animals, not human-beings.As to your website, I'm not interested.Open-mindedness only means being open to lies and evil concepts.I am VERY informed of all possible truths. There is only ONE truth: the Holy Bible, which I know thoroughly.Anything that contradicts the bible is LIES.If you truly think that the scriptures I quoted have not "one blessed thing to do with witchcraft", then you have a reading comprehension problem.I even quoted an entire chapter that is cleary speaking of earth worshippers aka "wiccans". ========== In Reply To ========== Actually, according to the Bible, God has indeed advocated great violence in the past.
