Are Christians the reason people are turning away from God?

Quite the contrary!

History is pretty much repetitive. People don't like being told what to do, the Jews in the old testament didn't like God telling them what to do, they grownd and complained and lacked faith...so much so, that God grew weary of them and destroyed many of them. Today is no different, people are no different than they were from the beginning of time.

You might say, if God told me to do something, I would probably listen; but God has told us what to do, He has told all of us what to do (in the New Testament).

Don't listen to human ideologies (humanism at best, and everything else that doesn't pertain to God's word). Don't listen to mainstream, and denominational religions; they're mostly wrong on all points. Pick up the NKJV Bible and start reading the Book of John.

The first mistake in your arguments is that the bible (any bible) was written by a god. Man invented religion to gain power and control people. Religion was codified into bibles and other "holey" texts by MAN. The NKJV bible is no exception. There are NO exceptions. There is no god. People were destroyed by the actions of men wielding the bible they wrote so as to achieve human objectives. Same as today around the world.

Alien

You really need to improve your spelling. If you don't you won't understand the difference between holey and holy and you'll be wholly confused.

This 4alien character seems to be a perpetual presence around this neighborhood. He just will not go away.
