Split house McCain Obama?

We have become aware of what obama is. I have been following the facts ever since the sleeper cell communist said he was going to run. obama now says nothing of what he really wants - he keeps pretending he is pro-America. Unfortunately most voters form their opinion on well produced commercials, what someone looks like, the tone of their voice and what is politically “correct” this month.

Commies!?!?!? Like China who we owe trillions to (thank you very much Mr.Bush)? Well goshum, I thought McCarthyism was dead and buried in the 50's. I guess old boogymen never die though. Palin WAS recently offered protection from Witches!Should they be preemptively be burned too????

On another subject, our apartment was split in the primaries. I supported Kucinich and my boyfriend supported Hillary. Now, we both are Obama supporters, so we are no longer a split household. We welcome all sorts of people into our house by the way-even conservatives, as long as they are somewhat respectful.

Nina: I do agree with you that unfortunately, many Americans form their opinions on commercials and superficial points. I ENCOURAGE people to closely examine each candidates positions. I think that people ARE doing that more and that is contributing to Obama's widening lead! In desperation, McCain is relying on negative ads that try to trash Obama because of past associations because he obviously has nothing else to run on.

Indeed, 100% of his ads are now personal attacks.

The man is not just desparate, he's craven. Accusing Obama of terrorism? Is anyone processing exactly what that means? That is by far the most serious allegation ever leveled against any presidential candidate in US history. Terrorism is a capital offense. The logical conclusion of McCain's ads is that Obama should not just be defeated in the election, he should be executed; that is what we do with terrorists after all. His fans eat this stuff up at the rallies.

I accept that politics is dirty, but this is filthy. This makes me sick. I used to have some respect for McCain, but it's evaporated completely. It's obvious he'll do anything, and I mean anything, to get in. This strategy he's chosen is the sleaziest sh*t I've ever seen; sleazier even than the Willie Horton ads against Dukakis. He's a desparate, dangerous man and what he's doing is utterly irresponsible. His inflammatory rhetoric could have some very distrubing consequences.
