Christmas
The tilt of the earth is the reason for the season. If it wasn't for that cosmological fact, there wouldn't be any seasons, and possibly no life on earth. Christmas is a good secular-pagan-commercial party wrapping up the end of another orbit round the sun.
To you that's all it is.Yes, the dates are related to pagan origins. We Christians, however, have chosen to use it to commemorate the birth of Jesus. The fact that the tilt, the seasons, and the resulting live exist argues powerfully for the existence of God.
Too much other evidence argues more powerfully against the existence of any god. God is a virtual impossibility.
I'm sorry, how does the tilt of the Earth argue "powerfully" for the existence of God? All the planets tilt! - except, if memory serves, Mercury and Venus.
To me, the ubiquity of axial tilt suggests that this is just an ordinary physical property of objects spinning in a vaccuum.
The key word is virtual.
