I'm sorry, but this poll is terrible. You don't even have more than one choice in some categories and most of my favorite films from the 80s are left out.
No Witness, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Mosquito Coast, Chariots of Fire, Reds, Mississippi Burning, DEad Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam, On Golden Pond or Rain Man, there's pretty much nothing i can vote for

Not to mention "Back to the Future" in 1985. Seriously a great movie!! Also "Empire Strikes Back" and "Elephant Man" in 1980. Full Metal Jacket? (1987) Once Upon a Time in America? (1984) Stand By Me? (1988) And the best movie of the 80s -- Princess Bride! (1987)
