I don't believe in god, jesus, satan, heaven or hell. I don't believe in Kismet, Karma, life after death or pixies. I wish I believed in witches because Charmed is soooooooooo hot!!! But I don't!

I believe in humanity and doing what is right because it's the right thing to do and not doing wrong because that would be wrong. I don't need the devil to scare me good. I just need to know the difference between right and wrong.

I have values based on the way I want to be treated. I believe we should not treat people in the way we would not like to be treated. I don't need a bible to tell me what that is. I don't need any holy scriptures to set my morals for me. I just need my common sense.

I am glad I don't need to turn to the bible for my morals because, when you look at it carefully its morals stink. If you don't believe me try reading it. Not the nice bits that the preachers would prefer us to stick to but the bits that tell us to turn on our children or our parents, or sell our daughters to strangers for sex, or slaughter innocent people so we can take their land, or where Lot, the only decent man in Sodom and Gamorrah impregnates his two daughters when drunk - this is THE upright family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe me, you're better off without the bible!

Here in L.A. we have a freeway called the 405 which people call "Satan's parking lot" because of the absolute hellish conditions on that roadway during rush hour. AC/DC may have written a song called "Highway to Hell", but this particular highway IS hell. It almost makes an absolute non-Christian like me believe that an entity as evil as the "Satan" of Christianity actually exists for such a monstrosity as the 405 freeway to be part of life!!!! I just survived yet another evening on that particular freeway which is why I'm so grumpy...and don't even get me started on the price of gas (Exxon/Mobil-another evil empire-keeps making record profits while the rest of us get screwed).

As far as Satan, it seems that his image is patterned after many of the ancient horned gods to make them seem evil, so that people in more nature worshipping societies could be converted easier.

As far as Witches, I know of lots of self identified Witches who are mostly pretty decent people (often a bit crazy though, but aren't we all). Otherwise, I agree with the notoriously formidible BJake yet again.

Hey, my polls are cool too!!! I haven't made many lately though. Of course, Blackninja133 IS the master wizard of Misterpoll--hands down!

You should make some polls too. I bet they would be fun, and I'll be sure to take them! I'll try to make some more myself. In this 2008 political season in the states, there is alot of good material already. Scotty McLellans new tell all book for starters deserves it's very own poll.
