Does music influence violence?

The only injuries I've ever seen that were connected to Rock/Metal was when my friend got his head cut by a dumb$%!@ who had his mouth open in a mosh pit during a 3 Doors Down concert. Mosh pit morons are the major source of Rock/metal injuries.

I'm not gonna speak for anyone else's favorite music.

My first boyfriend was a metalcore mosher. Once joined him in a moshpit. One big boy felt at my ankle. I could hardly walk for a whole weak. :s

But apart from that, I don't think there is a link between music and violence.
