WTA Commercial Shoot

Weigh your words...

I don’t doubt that your concern with the WTA demands is a valid one, but you will be better served by a less public approach to arriving at a solution. Involving the media and fans will only put the WTA in a defensive position where they aren’t willing or able to compromise and in the end it’s your brand and image that suffer. Being “right” isn’t always enough to win an argument. You should handle this situation with the same level of professionalism and maturity that you apply to the rest of your career.

Man, Peters, that was very impressive. You are so right, it isn't even funny. Still, one of the wonderful things about being an American is that you can stir up trouble and boycot the money makers and really shake things up. I agree that it would possibly be better for her career to just do what she is told and complain behind the scenes, but I am proud of Maria that she wants to stand up for herself in a situation where she feels like she is being taken advantage of. I also found it interesting that the championships would be held in a country where this photo shoot is probably illegal anyway because she'll probably be dressed more provocatively for the shoot than is allowed.

I think you should just leave the matter for now, what it is most important is that you get as much practice as you can on clay before going to the French Open.

You are goint to end up stressing yourself and lose focus on the tournament.

Try to negotiate and do less hours in the shooting.

Maybe the other players dont think like you think and they will not support you.
