WTA Commercial Shoot

No one would know who you were if it weren't for publicity. Suck it up and do your job....even parts of it you don't like. That is called being an adult. I don't like all aspects of my job but I don't throw a tantrum to get out it.

I would like to hear the WTA's side of the story. Without the WTA you would not be earning the money you are able to earn today. Read your history about how much women athletes made just a few years ago. Most female athletes in other sports still make less than men. The WTA is one group that has done a great job for women. Billie Jean King will not like your attitude about supporting and promoting the sport that has made you famous and wealthy.

Maria - get real. You would be no-one and nowhere in your career right now without the WTA. You are a very rich young girl thanks to tennis. Stop acting like a spoilt brat and set an example to your fans. Poor Maria, flying in from LA - 12 hours - boo hoo - in first class too - boo hoo hoo.

Maria - remember where you came from...

before you say anything, know first both sides..

Ok, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you other people, but maybe you don't realize what Maria has to go through. First of all, it wouldn't be such a big deal if she didn't have a tournament the VERY NEXT day. Second, Maria's talent got her where she is today, NOT the WTA tour. Where do you people think most of her money comes from? Advertising and sponsorships. The WTA tour pays pocket change in comparison. I don't care if she was on the Little League tour, Maria would be getting money because she has TALENT and deserves it. The WTA Tour should schedule these B.S. shoots at other times, and sure as hell not fine players who want to spend their time preparing for a match less than 24 hours away.
