Is this wise to take away the name of God from our school teachings?

This is a biased poll

I pretty much agree with BJake.

Isn't it so cute that somewhere in Arizona, a family forced Christianity down their kids throat just like many do. They must be mad that their kids public school is secular.

Compared to the many people who have been murdered because of Christianity (eg: witch hunts, inquisition, forced conversion of Native Americans and other non-Christians, ect, ect), I really wonder who has really been hurt by dyed hair, tounge piercings, condoms (actually they save lives in case you weren't aware), or learning about other belief systems.

I will echo the sentiment that if someone wants to live in a theocracy, they should leave this country. If we look at today's theocracies, all I can say is "no thanks".

Consider this: What if Wicca became the majority religion in this country, and students in public schools were forced to participate in and or listen to Wiccan led prayers. Would all the fundies STILL have the same fervor in support of school prayer? I didn't think so.....

The phrase "separation of church and state" is never explicitly mentioned in the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution. Some would say that it was the result of misguided judicial interpretations.

Now that is just silly!
