I had my first drink at eight days. If one does not drink like a fish drinking does no harm. Register as a Republican first as they are allowed to do anything they want.

I don't believe there should be an absolute age where you are allowed to drink. For example, here in the UK, if I was to go into a pub or bar the day before my 18th, I would not be served, but past midnight that night I could get totally wasted if I wanted to.
In my opinion, alcohol should be introduced gradually by parents, starting at a fairly early age. Maybe then you would have less of a problem with teenagers 'bingeing' on alcohol because they suddenly can.
