What came first Chicken or egg?

Eggs were around for billions of years before the first chicken so the egg wins! Eggs rule!

Well, if you believe the creationary theory, then plainly the chicken came first (God created the chicken). However, if you believe the evolutionary theory, then the egg came first, for millions of years, until the bird that hatched was truly a chicken. If you believe both, as some people do, I'm not sure what the answer would be.

Egg, definitley. A chicken egg is more or less the same as a human egg (eg. the egg is a chicken's period). In order for the chicken to be created the egg must be fertilised so the egg must be there first.

Everything starts as an egg. Even a chicken.
God created nothing. The catholic church had accepted evolution as scientific fact since the 1950s. Pope JP2 claimed it was god's mechanism. Thus, unless you are a new earth creationist, old earth creationist or something equally insane, the egg came first.
