Yes, self called Christians disobey what God demands of them, and for that they ARE NOT CHRISTIANS, and they WILL NOT inherit eternal life. So NO, I do NOT say that people such as these are any different to Hitler. So my original statement obviously stands; you are ONLY a Christian by the Bibles definition if you follow what it says, so Hitler was obviously NOT a Christian. You should understand through my giraffe analogy what I am trying to say; you can see by Hitler’s ACTIONS, not words, what he really was, and he CLEARLY showed NO Christian actions. Just because someone claims to be something DOESN’T make it true.

The church of Hitlers day did little to stop his abhorrent actions, and as BJake stated; the Pope actually stood by him. But the ONLY reason that Hitler claimed to be a Christian was to keep the church, and thus the German people, on his side. If the church criticized his policies then he would loose the support of the German people, and he certainly couldn’t afford this if he wanted to succeed in his racist policies.

Hitler and Evolution - And where did you two go to school? Did you learn ANYTHING about Hitler and his policies? His driving policy was that people with blonde hair and blue eyes were the superior race, he wanted to exterminate inferior races and anyone with physical or mental disabilities, because if they were allowed to breed then mankind couldn’t EVOLVE (the link below elaborates). This was the sole purpose of his extermination camps!!! Hitler Stalin and Mao all based their policies on evolution and the ‘superior’ race premise, the Nazi regime was obsessed with evolution. Though they can’t be blamed to much, they only took the theory of evolution to its logical and obvious conclusion; mankind CAN’T evolve if EVERYBODY is allowed to breed, the concept of evolution works off of natural selection, and if there is NO selection for extermination then NO evolution can take place. So who can blame these guys for wanting to make mankind stronger? Surely not fellow evolutionists like yourselves? Or do both of you want mankind to rot into oblivion? Because this is what will happen if you believe evolution to be true and fail top adopt Hitler’s policies!!! Thankfully there are some sensible people like creationists who see that evolution is nothing but a fanciful myth; there is just NO science to support it.

It’s a pity that the education system wants to brainwash the young and try to erase the sole driving force for the worlds most abhorrent atrocities; evolution. Unfortunately it seems to be working though!

I thought the bible was the word of god. Is god a Jew? There is evidence that the new testament teachings, before they were edited by the Bishops under Nicholas were only meant for Jews and not for gentiles. If Christ actually existed his message was solely for Jews. It was only later that the gospel was taken to gentiles.

The fact that Jewish scripture can be used to justify the killing of Jews by Christians or Muslems is my point - and it has been you know as well as justifying apartheidt, the killing of Muslems in Kosovo, the murder of doctors involved in abortions, and the 9/11 attacks. Islam worships the same god and is based on the same original scripture as the Jewish faith. In fact both Christianity and Islam were originally seen as minority Jewish sects. Might have been better if they had stayed that way. Then there would have been atrocities committed by Jews upon Jews instead of Christians upon Muslems or whichever atrocity you want to quote.

Jews would hate Jews for killing Christ, Jews would hate Jews for taking over Jerusalem and throwing Jews out, Jews would retalliate by invading Lebanon because Jews had launched rockets at Jews. Life would be so much simpler.

You have made, and continue to make, the audacious claim that the Bible can be used (and was used by Hitler) to justify genocide and all sorts of other things. But are you going to back this delusional claim up with ANY Bible quotes? Because until you do, these claims are nothing but baseless dribble.

You ask “is God a Jew”, well, no He isn’t. God is God and follows His own ways, Jews are the people that follow the rules of the Old Testament. You now state (and again without a shred of evidence) that the Bible was written solely for Jews and not Gentiles. By this statement I presume that you are unaware that a few of Jesus’ disciples, and thus authors of the New Testament, were actually Gentiles themselves. And if you had actually ever read the Bible you would know that Jesus repeatedly told His followers to spread the ‘Good news’ to EVERYBODY. Jesus Himself repeatedly went into Gentile country to minister to them. Knowing this I think it is safe to say that this theory of yours has been ‘blown out of the water’, just like your other misguided claim that Hitler was a practising Christian.

Firstly Hitler stated often that he was a Christian. I agree there are many who call themselves Christian but don't act as one. Rudolph Hess called him a good Catholic. Again I agree that Hess probably didn't have much understanding of what constitutes good. Goering referred to Hitler saying "Only a Catholic could unite Germany". OK Hitler was brought up a Catholic and maybe Goering meant only someone brought up a Catholic could unite Germany.

In 1933 Hitler said in a speech in Berlin "We are convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations; we have stamped it out". you have that in common with Hitler - does that make you a bad man - No of course it doesn't. Or does it? :)

In 1941 hitler told General Gerhard Engel "I shall remain a Catholic for ever."

Now to the use of the bible to justify the killing of the Jews.

In a speech in 1923 in Munich he stated "The first thing to do is to rescue Germany from the Jew who is ruining our country. We want to prevent our Germany from suffering, as another did, the death upon the cross." OK, not a direct quote but he used Christ on the cross as an analogy and places the blame upon the Jews.

In 'Adolf Hitler: The definitive Biography' John Toland writes "Still a member in good standing of the church of Rome despite detestation of its hierarchy, he carried within him its teaching that the Jew was the killer of god. The extermination, therefore, could be done without a twinge of conscience since he was merely acting as the avenging hand of god - so long as it was done impersonally, without cruelty."

Remember that at the time the Catholic church taught that Jews were Christ killers/killers of god. This was not solely a Catholic view but a firmly held view of most christians, and Martin Luther had said in a speech at the Diet of Worms "All Jews should be driven from Germany" and wrote the book 'On the Jews and their Lies' in which he states that the Jews are a "brood of vipers' - a phrase which Hitler used in a speech in 1922 "My feelings as a Christian point me to my Lord and Saviour as a fighter. It ponts me to the man who once in the lonliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognised the Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who Gods truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in his might and siezed the scourge to drive out of the temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was his fight for the world against the Jewish position. Today, after 2000 years, with deepest emotion I recognise more profoundly than ever before that it was for this that he had to shed his blood upon the cross. as a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice. And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I also have a duty to my own people."

Again, in 'Mein Kampf' in 1925 he wrote "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the mighty creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the Lord."

Now actually agree with you that this has nothing to do with Hitler actually being a christian but he certainly used christianity as an excuse and also to whip up anti Jewish feeling. that Christ was a Jew has been conveniently missed by all the Christ Killer brigade.

Napoleon said "Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet." and Seneca the younger said "Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful." Hitler may well have agreed. It doesn't alter the fact that he used it to justify the killing of Jews. Of course Hitler didn't personally kill any Jews, he got his army to do that. Many of the soldiers and officers who carried out Hitlers order were Christians ansd were peruaded by him that it was ok because of his reference to the bible - twisted yes but still used by evil to do evil.

As to Christianity only being for Jews. Go to Revalations which numbers those sealed (saved) which is limited to 144,000. 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes. Moreover, none may be women for Revelations again states that the 144,000 "did not defile themselves with women" - so that rules out Jews, women and men who have had anything to do with women. Where do you fit into that?

On Christ preaching to Gentiles - where is your proof of that except in a bible which was edited in 325 AD to remove the non Gentile parts - shame they forgot about revelations (thank St. Nick as it was hjis casting vote that kept it in)

Every day Jewish men pray and say "I thank god for making me a Jew, I thank god for not making e a Gentile, I thank god for not making me a woman"

So being a woman, even a Jewish woman is worse than being a Gentile.

Christ was brought up in that faith and would have prayed that prayer every morning if he existed at all.
