"Shirts Vs Skins" or "Skins Vs/and Skins" (guys only)
My first svs gave was in 7th grade here in NY. When we started the basketball unit in PE, the coach said "I wanna let you guys know, we play skins and shirts here." Everyone grumbled and I looked around, not knowing what the hell that meant. When the teams were divided and I started removing their shirts, and I was a skin, I got embarassed. I hated it for those 2 years.
Later, when I got in shape, I started actively trying to be skins. If I'm playing basketball I will absolutely try to get my team to be skins, particularly if girls are watching or playing.
One of the best dates I've ever had was when I invited a girl to shoot around with me and I went shirtless (95 degrees in FL). She didn't mind at all, and actually invited me to stay shirtless for the rest of the afternoon while we walked around the campus and she drove me back home for us to shower. I guess I impressed her enough, cause we got it on the first night.
I joined a YMCA basketball league this past fall, but when they brought out the 2-color jersies my heart dropped. Even scrimmages were done with color coding.
Oh well, I love it.

There is a private golf club in the Washington D.C. suburbs that is imfamous for having a male member only rule. Women want to join because they would be able to socialize with its politically powerful membership. Ome reason that the members want to keep it male only is that they can go on the course in jockstrap and footwear only. First thing that would happen if it was sexually integrated is that the women would demand that guys cover up. The Bohemian Grove in California meets every year in a forest where they camp out. Again the people that show up are very politically powerful. Among the activities at the meetings is the men only wear shoes and get to stay drunk. They relieve themselves in the Biblically acceptable way of using trees. There are no great amounts of sports but they do put on pageants and have quasi religious ceremonies. Some of the Jewish community centers up until the mid l980's had nude swimming because they believed in segregating sexes and it was convenient to exploit the few hours that were one sex only to have skinny dipping.
I went through something somewhat similar to this. I was first exposed to shirts-vs-skins during my freshman year in high school, in P.E. classes where all games were done shirts and skins. At first, I was kind of embarrassed to be on the skins team, and usually tried to get myself on the shirts. Eventually, I got a little more comfortable about it. Not enough that I actively attempted to try to be on the skins, but enough that I wasn't embarrassed when I was picked as a skin.
Later, when the weather started warming up and P.E. was done outside, the coach decided to switch to skins-vs-skins, where everyone was shirtless. It was kind of confusing distinguishing between teams at first, since we were used to just looking for other shirts or other skins. However, since everyone was shirtless, it was actually a bit more comfortable for me. It didn't feel as discriminating to be a skin, since everyone was a skin.
