The paging isn't a dumb idea. It's just not a high priority for us, since most polls don't have hundreds of questions. It is on my to-do list. It's just not near the top right now

I get messages from people saying that when they finish my LONGEST POLL EVER, they get an error message. Is this because my poll is so insanely long, or something else?

Whew... well I actually just answered the whole thing to test it. That was painful. You owe me. :-)
It worked fine for me. However, I'm pretty sure I know what happened for those other people. Their sessions probably timed out before they got through it. Sessions time out after 2 hours, and I could see how somebody might be on that page taking the poll for that long. Especially if they take a break -- which is almost mandatory. Hah.
So, indirectly, I think it is because the poll is so long.
