Launching polls: Like the subject says, is my suggestion just a suggestion, so you may include the poll in another category if you feel it fits there better or is it kind of go/no-go decision (not ok for suggested category => rejected)?

Your category suggestion is considered by our reviewers when they are placing your poll in the directory. Usually, we'll go with your suggestion unless it's a real mismatch or the reviewer feels there is a better fit that will bring you more votes. We never reject a poll just because we disagree with the suggested category. It would simply be placed somewhere else.

There are also times where the poll's subject matter may fit into the suggested category, but the language used or the maturity level of the poll is too high for the general categories. In those cases, we may have to classify it as an adult poll and place into into one of the adult categories. That's the only other exception I can think of where it would end up somewhere other than where you suggested.

Yeah, that happened to me, i wanted to make the poll "Hitting it off (Poll by Blackninja133)" into the behind closed doors genre. But it was too... you know... so it got put into the Adult: Gay/Lesbian Genre instead. I think all of them except one work for you lot.
