The new look makes finding all of the old poll results much harder to find and has put all our poll votes so far in a box. Everything from poll results to most active seems to have been reset in the open poll sections. I don't like this new look at all. Please just reset it to how it was.

I agree. The former look was much better. It was more friendly in the eye (better to look at) then the new version.

I do appreciate the work that is put in to maintaining the website, but change is not always improvement. So please change it back, or give us the choise which version to use when we enter the website.

By the way; why can't I select "adult polls" when I do a search? In this new version of MisterPoll I can only select General interest and Limited interest polls.

Wow, I'm amazed that anybody could actually like that old dated look better. It looked like something that was hacked together 10 years ago in my living room. Oh, wait. It was. :-) Believe me, it's not coming back.

Aside from the visuals though, you both have some functional issues that need addressing.

Quizmania: I need to put your results question in the FAQ. I saw it coming and just forgot to write it up. I know it's a bit jarring to see all of the poll results reset to zero. We did preserve them, but as you put it, they are "in a box". There is a reason for this. The old system only stored the total number of votes for each question/choice. When somebody voted, it would just add one to the total. The new system actually stores each individual vote and remembers which votes were submitted together. That gives you the great new feature of being able to download voting details and analyze cross-question patterns. For example, if your first question asks, "Are you male or female?", you could then see how gender affects the remaining answers. This was probably our most requested feature over the years, and it's a powerful one. However, because the old system did not track this level of detail, it does make the voting history incompatible with the new system. Rather than lose it altogether, we compromised and put it "in a box". You can still get to your old votes, they are just separate.

Wattman: You can only select "Adult Polls" on the search if you have an active uncensored subscription. It was that way with the old site as well -- at least it was supposed to be. I will check your account and email you privately if you have a subscription that wasn't converted properly.

If the poll question is "Have you had sex with barnyard animals" and I click on yes, does this mean that the poll writer will know that bob76 had sex with barnyard animals, or just that the 478th person who took the poll had sex with barnyard animals?
